VOIspeed Ltd. was founded in 2006 by Harpax Srl with the objective of strengthening the company's presence outside Italy and, in particular, in the UK.

Based in the centre of Italy, Harpax has been pioneering new telecoms technologies since it was founded in 1995. In 2000 it began developing a new system integrating telephone and data networks. Anticipating market trends, VOIspeed IP PBX was launched on the European market in 2003. This innovative phone system is now used by over 5000 businesses worldwide.

Today VOIspeed has a significant presence in Europe through a substantial network of distributors and resellers. Its commercial successes have fuelled growth enabling investments in further innovation and improvement of the product portfolio.

VOIspeed IP PBXs have been widely adopted for their flexibility, reliability and innovative features. They are the ideal IP phone systems for call centres or small to medium businesses.

VOIspeed's expansion plans are being backed by an Italian Venture Capital fund (SOLOFID Spa) part of the prestigious group of "Banca Lombarda e Piemontese". SOLOFID Spa currently has a 48.25% stake in Harpax.

This Venture Capital fund brings an invaluable wealth of management consulting experience and industry knowledge benefiting VOIspeed as well as its business partners.

The Board of Directors includes high profile individuals from industry and academia.
